Hitachi NV45AB2 Roofing Nailer
The Hitachi brand has been one of the most common brands of coil nailers, or coil type nail guns. Hundreds of nail guns are sold in hardware stores and online shops.Technically speaking, a nail gun, or a nailer is a type of power tool that is used to drive nails into material surface such as wood or concrete. Nail guns often employ electromagnetism, pressurized air, highly flammable gases like butane and propane, and sometimes even small explosive charges. Nail guns have been the easy replacement of hammers for quite some time already.
The Hitachi coil nailers, like most nail guns, do not use individual nails. As their name implies, their nails are mounted in a plastic carrier coil. Some nail gun models use clipped nail heads so the nails can be closer together, lessening the reloading. Some nail gun models have self-loading actions, but the reloading of nails are to be used by hand.
Nail guns vary in the length and thickness or gauge of the nails they drive. Small nail guns are called pin nailers, finish nailers. Thicker nails are driven by either strap nail guns, framing nailers or timber nailers, which can drive nails up to 6.25 inches long.
One of the more commonly known Hitachi coil nailers is the Hitachi NV45AB2 roofing nailer. It is a lightweight tool weighing only 5.5 lbs, and is well balanced for easy maneuverability. For maximum efficiency, the nail gun is equipped with a quick driving capacity. It is equipped with rubber pads and rubber grips both for comfort and security. The Hitachi coil nailer is made available with bottom load magazines and a power pack.
